Easter: He Is Risen, Various Scripture, April 20, 2025

Join us for a wonderful Easter Sunday at The Rock where we Celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ, as well as, Celebrate the Baptisms of four members of our church family. In this extended service we look at the many appearances of Jesus on this day and the question of why people to this day struggle to believe that Jesus rose from the dead. At the same time we hear the testimonies of faith in the risen Christ by four members of our church family that will bless you on this day.

Passion Week: The King and The Asses, Matthew 21, April 13, 2025

We invite you to join us for our Annual Passion Week Celebrations at The Rock. This Sunday pastor Rudi will take us into Matthew 21 and Jesus’ Triumphal entry into Jerusalem. This day in history marks His true Inauguration. Despite the initial jubilation, the week ahead leads to His crucifixion and is called His passion as the Latin word ‘passio’ means to ‘endure suffering’.

We continue our series in the Letter to the Hebrews—An Unshakeable Kingdom. Join us as pastor Glenn leads us into Chapter 3 which emphasizes the superiority of Christ over Moses, highlighting that while Moses was a faithful servant in God's house, Christ is the Son over the house. We will also encounter a second warning this time against hardening our hearts in unbelief. True believers are called to persevere in faith, holding firmly to their confidence in Christ. These last 10 verses have been found hard to understand since they were recorded by Daniel. The primary challenge has been that they are obviously referring to a future time known as the last days, days that are yet to come. Chapters 10-12, which conclude the book, are all related to the final vision of future events that Daniel was given. Chapter 11 is by far the most contested chapter in Daniel's book of prophecy by the skeptic and the reason is obvious. This Sunday, we return to our series in the Book of Daniel—Exiles in Babylon! This week we will revisit chapters 9 & 10 where we will recall Daniel's great prayer seeking God keep his promise to rescue the exiles from Babylonian exile. His prayer is answered along with the prophecy of seventy weeks to come. That's followed by Daniel's 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting in chapter 10 which will bring us up to date and lead into our 21 Days of Prayer Fasting starting next week.
